I add it to my post for your benefit.

Amazingly, I’ve seen emails with confidentiality notices almost identical to that emanating from multiple financial institutions. I always shake my head and said, “Where do they get the lawyers in these legal departments? What kind of people write this?”

Your spammer almost certainly lifted this right out of an email from someone working for a bank, because he thought it looked official and impressive. That makes him dumb, but not as dumb as the lawyers who wrote it and approved it.
