A key paragraph:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Like I said, we knew self dominates the world, but what\u2019s different is that now Christians are also about self.   A lot of terrain on the Christian blogosphere is dedicated to defense of selfish pursuits.  They have staked out their love of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevekmccoy.com\/reformissionary\/2006\/06\/biblical_libert.html\" target=\"_blank\">booze<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sharperiron.org\/showthread.php?p=24747#post24747\" target=\"_blank\">movie theater<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sliceoflaodicea.com\/?p=178\" target=\"_blank\">dance<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fundyreformed.wordpress.com\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\">rock music<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.valleybible.org\/index.cfm\/pageid\/699\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">dating touching<\/a>, and a<a href=\"http:\/\/billynewhouse.blogspot.com\/2006\/04\/church-dress.html\" target=\"_blank\"> casual dress philosophy<\/a>.  These are all activities, which have historically been <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?hl=en&amp;id=4eoDAAAAQAAJ&amp;dq=%22Anti-Bacchus%22&amp;printsec=frontcover&amp;source=web&amp;ots=L6g8Rg45a1&amp;sig=SKQblJHxPNQ3PZkgst15kjf_mqo\" target=\"_blank\">rejected<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.middletownbiblechurch.org\/christia\/spurgeon.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Christians<\/a>, but not anymore.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Lest anyone misunderstand the emphasis, be sure to note this paragraph also, commenting on critiquing worldly externals:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So yes, the insides matter the most, but his outsides are also wrong.  They conform to the world.  His externals haven\u2019t been transformed by the renewing of his mind.  His body isn\u2019t a living sacrifice and isn\u2019t acceptable to God.
